2006 Saturday Fixtures

The South Notts Cricket League Saturday fixtures have been released for both the 1st & 2nd XI. These can be viewed by clicking on the fixtures link to the left.
Scott Andrew begins his reign leading the 1st XI at home to Plumtree. Meanwhile, Chris Miller will start his reign leading the 2nd XI at Risley.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (update 19/1/06)

Congratulations to Scott Andrew & Chris Miller who were unanimously voted in as the Captains of the 1st & 2nd XI's.
Thanks were expressed to outgoing skippers David Fraser-Darling & Peter Wright for their efforts, both voluntarily standing down at the end of the 2005 season.
Matt Wright continues as Sunday Captain once again in 2006.
A number of new faces on the committee this year, Scott & Chris, Andy Hubbard & Ian Webb making their 'debuts'
Finally the most important issue of the night saw Mim Davies re-elected as Chairman. Most people in the Club are aware of what a tremendous job Mim does and were delighted to see him accept the Post. The Committee & ALL members of the Club must get behind the Chair and support him in any possible way they can.
The first meeting of the newly formed Committee will be held at 'The Top Club' on Thursday 16th February at 7.30pm.

Sunday Fixtures

The Newark Alliance Division 1 Sunday fixtures for 2006 have been received and can be viewed by clicking on the fixtures link to the left. A tough start to the season, with a 'trek' to Bracebridge, let's hope it's not in vain this time!
