Representitive fixture - June 2007

Calverton CC are proud to announce that they have been asked to host a top class representative match during the forthcoming season.

On Sunday June 10th, G.L.A will host Nottinghamshire CCC Women versus Sussex CCC Women with a 10.30am start. Further details about this game will be released nearer the time, but it is anticipated that up to 6 women who have represented England will be playing in this match.

As a result, the Newark Alliance fixture scheduled for this date against Sleaford has been rearranged for Sunday 27th May.

Calverton CC proposed Tour to South Africa March 2008

Following recent meetings & discussions, the Tour dates have been set.

Saturday March 16th, 2008, will see the Tour Party depart from England to sunny Cape Town, returning to England on Monday 31st March.

I have now received two amended itineraries from South Africa which I shall be circulating to all interested parties shortly. Four people have already paid their deposits (remember they are due before the end of January please). It's not to late for you to be involved in this wonderful experience. If you are interested please contact Derek Pickering or any Committee member.
