1st XI v Eastwood - Off

Despite Friday being a dry day, the heavy rain from Thursday has put paid to another game of cricket. A wicket was cut (in a fashion) & rolled, this resembled a slab of mud! With the outfield mower getting stuck at the top end of the ground, it became apparent it just wasn't going to happen.

Keep fingers crossed for a dry Saturday & Sunday morning & maybe, just maybe, the Newark Alliance game at home against Bracebridge Heath may get played.

New Date For Police Game.

The quarter final tie between Notts & South Yorkshire has been rearranged for Thursday 9th August, 2pm start at GLA.

2nd XI GAME OFF at Newark

This Saturday's 2nd XI game (28/07/07) against Newark has already been called off. Newark's ground is still waterlogged after the recent heavy rain and flooding and therefore making it unplayable for the rest of the season.

Please contact Captain Chris Miller with your availability for next Saturday's game (04/08/07) at home to Radcliffe.
