****** COMMITTEE MEETINGS ******

Tonight's meeting (5/2/09) has been cancelled due to the weather.

February's meeting will now be held at 7.30pm on Thursday 12th at The Top Club.

It seems as though February's meeting was destined not to happen, with the heavy snowfall on Thursday teatime putting paid to the meeting once again. As we're now half way through February, the next meeting will be held on Tuesday 3rd March at The Top Club, 7.30pm start (weather permitting)!

Saturday Fixtures - 2009

The fixtures for the South Notts Cricket League have been received for the forthcoming season.

The First XI, who will be skippered by Rich Lee this year, open their campaign at home against Radcliffe On Trent on Saturday 2nd May. Meanwhile the Second XI, again lead by the 'evergreen' John Nester, will begin with a trip to Wymeswold on the same date.

All the fixtures for Saturdays & Sundays have now been inputted onto the fixtures page and calendar page on the website.

We are now awaiting the fixtures for the Junior sides (Under 13's, Under 15's & Under 11's kwik cricket). As soon as they are received they will be posted on here.

Cope Cup 2009

We will once again be entering a team in the charity Cope Cup. We have been drawn in a group with Caythorpe II's, Lowdham and Whatton & Aslockton. These matches will be played in May & June - full details on the fixtures page or calendar page.

This years worthy charity is 'Headway' - a charity set up to give help and support to people affected by brain injury.
